AHRI’s HR Certification Program aims to enhance your HR capability in alignment with the Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF), ultimately helping you to prepare for the HR Certification Assessment to become a CPHR.

Consisting of five AHRCF Micro-credentials, enhance your skills and knowledge across the seven HR capabilities of the Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF).

HR Certification Program

This AHRCF micro-credential is designed to elevate HR professionals into strategic partners within their organisations. It focuses on aligning HR strategy with the broader organisational strategy.

AHRCF Micro-credential

This AHRCF micro-credential is designed to empower HR professionals with the skills to lead change, manage HR operations compliantly and effectively, and leverage technology and data analytics to drive strategic decisions. 

AHRCF Micro-credential

This AHRCF micro-credential investigates the critical facets of creating and maintaining healthy, safe, and inclusive workplace environments. With a key focus on workplace health and safety, employee wellbeing, and psychosocial health. 

AHRCF Micro-credential

This AHRCF micro-credential is designed to enable HR professionals to be effective business partners by building their skills in workforce planning, industrial relations, organisational design, and work design. 

This AHRCF micro-credential covers the entire talent management lifecycle including talent acquisition, capability development, performance management, succession planning, as well as engagement and retention strategies.

The AHRCF Micro-credentials are delivered online with two modes of delivery available to study

FACILITATOR-LED

Online | Member pricing $1,450

The facilitator-led delivery mode is ideal for those seeking a deeper understanding of the Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF) via hands-on, structured learning in a group setting. Facilitated by leading HR subject matter experts this delivery mode allows you to learn and connect with peers in an instructor-led online workshop.

SELF-LED

Online | Member pricing $880

The self-led delivery mode is ideal for HR practitioners with a strong background in the capability area. Designed to be completed over six weeks, this option suits experienced HR leaders or those working within large HR teams who are confident progressing independently.

AHRCF Micro-credential FAQs

Can the AHRCF Micro-credentials be used towards HR Certification? 
The HR Certification Assessment needs to be successfully completed in order to achieve CPHR status. Whilst the AHRCF Micro-credentials are designed to enhance your capability in preparation to successfully complete the HR Certification Assessment, the AHRCF Micro-credentials cannot be used towards HR Certification. 

The time commitment for each AHRCF Micro-credential. depends on the delivery mode:

  • Facilitator-led: 15 hours of study in addition to attending the online workshops.
  • Self-led: approximately 25-40 hours

No, the AHRCF Micro-credential workshops are not recorded. For those completing the AHRCF Micro-credentials via facilitator-led workshops you are recommended to attend the two full-day workshops online.

If you successfully pass the AHRCF Micro-credential you will receive a digital credential badge via Credly – this can be added to your LinkedIn profile. 32 CPD points will also be applied for completion of each AHRCF Micro-credential. 
No, there is no specific order required to complete the AHRCF Micro-credentials. You are invited to complete the AHRCF Micro-credentials in the order and pace that suits both your professional and personal commitments. 

Your pathway to HR Certification is unique to you and is based on your HR experience, people leadership experience, formal qualifications and how confident you feel to demonstrate capability in alignment with the Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF).   • For the Facilitator-led delivery mode access will be granted 5 days prior to the workshop dates.
  • For the Self-led delivery mode access will be granted at course commencement. 

You will receive access to access to our online learning portal where you can post questions via the class Discussion Board. You are also invited to email student support at [email protected]

This varies depending on the delivery mode you have selected:

  • Facilitator-led – You have four (4) weeks to complete your assessment following the last day of the online workshops.
  • Self-led – You have a total of six (6) weeks to complete your assessment.

All assessments will be marked within two weeks of the submission due date.
