What’s the minimum number of participants?
The program is designed for HR teams of 12 or more participants. If you wish to certify a smaller team, please view our publicly available micro-credentials.
Is there a maximum number of participants?
Yes — to ensure quality delivery and support, each group is capped at 20 participants.
How long does the program take?
While timelines can vary depending on individual progress, most teams complete the program within six to nine months.
Can we choose when the program is delivered?
Absolutely. We work with you to develop a schedule that aligns with your organisation’s operational needs and timeframes.
What support is provided to participants?
Participants receive comprehensive course materials and toolkits for each micro-credential. They also attend 5 x 2-day workshops – one for each Micro-credential and have ongoing access to their facilitator for coaching and mentoring. We’re here to support them every step of the way.
Can the course content be tailored to our organisation?
Yes, the course case study can be tailored to your organisation. Through consultation, we can discuss your specific requirements. Please note that additional fees will apply, dependant on the level of tailoring required.
Is there a time limit for completing the Certification program?
Participants have up to 12 months to complete the full Certification program.
How much work is required outside of workshops?
While each learner is different, we recommend allocating around 15 hours per micro-credential for assessment work outside of workshop sessions.
Who is eligible to undertake Certification?
Participants should have at least two years of experience in the HR field. This ensures they can contribute meaningfully to the peer-led discussions and apply real-world insights throughout the program.
Will we have a dedicated AHRI contact to manage the program?
Yes. Your organisation will be supported by a dedicated AHRI Project Manager who will coordinate logistics and provide consistent support from start to finish.
What happens after Certification is achieved?
To maintain AHRI Certification and the CPHR post-nominal, individuals must:
- Remain an active AHRI member, and
- Complete 60 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points every three years.
AHRI offers a range of CPD options to support ongoing learning — from individualised pathways to team-based development programs. We can also work with your organisation to deliver tailored sessions that build on your team’s certification journey and respond to evolving workforce needs.
