AHRI Certification

To go straight to AHRI Certification assessment, HR practitioners must have:
- Professional AHRI membership status at MAHRI level or higher.
- 5+ years’ experience in an HR leadership role.
- Completed a formal qualification (degree or postgraduate diploma in any discipline).

If an HR practitioner doesn’t meet the preceding criteria, they may undertake AHRI Certification assessment if they have:
Professional AHRI membership status at MAHRI level or higher.
More than two years’ experience in an HR role.
Completed all AHRCF Micro-credentials.

Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF) Micro-credentials are designed to enhance HR practitioners’ capabilities to a Certified level, preparing them for Certification assessment. AHRCF Micro-credentials provide practitioners with opportunities to practically apply their underpinning knowledge and learn from professional experts and peers, across all skill and knowledge areas and behaviours defined in the AHRCF.
Following successful completion of each AHRCF Micro-credential, practitioners are issued with a digital credential badge, signifying their capability and credibility in that AHRCF Micro-credential.
Each AHRCF Micro-credential can be completed as either a virtual intensive workshop over two days, or as a distance learning experience over six weeks.
