The Role
Are you a HR systems specialist passionate about improving processes, optimising technology and enhancing employee experiences? We are seeking a Principal HR Systems professional to lead the administration, optimisation and continuous improvement of HR systems and employee lifecycle processes. In this key role, you will drive system enhancements, streamline workforce processes, improve data quality and reporting, and ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide expert advice, training and support, enable informed workforce decision – making and deliver efficient, effective people services. We are looking for a self -starter who can manage HR projects from inception through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:

- Lead & optimise HR systems, ensuring data integrity, system performance & effective reporting.
- Oversee and improve employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce movements and offboarding.
- Drive continuous process improvements to streamline workflows, strengthen controls and enhance the employee experience.
- Provide expert advice, training and support on HR systems, workforce processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, organisational policies & governance standards.
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent senior experience
- A National Police Clearance (Town paid)
- A current ‘C’ class driver’s license
- The right to work in Australia
