Rachel Cosentino holds a dual appointment as Senior Commissioner of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission and Industrial Magistrate. She was appointed to the WAIRC in June 2021.  Prior to her appointment, Senior Commissioner Cosentino worked for 20 years in the WA legal profession in practice areas spanning workers’ compensation and personal injury, property law, estate litigation, industrial relations and discrimination law.  She practiced at the bar (Francis Burt Chambers) from 2018 to 2021 and prior to that was a Practice Group Leader at Slater and Gordon and a Partner at Gibson & Gibson.  Cosentino is also an accredited mediator.
