Grief@Work – A Practical Conversation
July 17 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM AEST
Free - $20.00NSW Employment Relations, Industrial Relations and Workplace Health and Safety Network
Join us for a conversation about this important, often uncomfortable, topic. A conversation with Georgia Siabanis and Desleigh White, experienced HR practitioners who have lived experience of grief including through the deaths of partners and family members, and who have translated those experiences into learnings for their workplaces. Both have completed Mental Health First Aid training and are accredited, and Georgia has completed Greif First Aid, a new program.
This is a challenging topic for many, and the conversation may reference different sources of grief, including miscarriage and still birth, suicide, cancer, deaths of loved ones, job loss and much more.
It is an important conversation to have, so we can support ourselves, people we care about and the people we work with.
You’ll walk away with some practical strategies that you can apply at work and outside of work.
