Home Certification and training Short Courses Workforce Planning – Advanced
The necessity to have talented individuals possessing the right skills, for the right roles, at the right time and cost, remains a critical consideration in today’s context. Globalisation, technology, and evolving ways of working have expanded the talent pool. However, organisations concurrently face heightened competition for the right people.
This course has been designed to build on Workforce Planning – Foundations and provide participants with a deeper understanding of how to approach some of the more advanced components of workforce planning. Similar to the Foundations course, it provides practical tools and approaches for undertaking environmental scanning, scenario planning, workforce planning dashboard development, demand forecasting, labour market analysis, risk analysis and stakeholder collaboration and communication.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with highly experienced workforce planners and participants to learn through practical exercises created to increase confidence and proficiency in advanced workforce planning components. The course emphasises the use of advanced capabilities to develop workforce plans, in partnership to ensure they are business owned and led.
