The Australian HR Capability Framework

The Australian HR Capability Framework (AHRCF) expands the application of core capabilities for HR professionals across the scope of experience from early career professionals to senior HR leaders.

This framework is an evolution of the AHRI Model of Excellence (MoE). HR practice has shifted and lifted its impact, and these are the capabilities that will future proof Australian businesses.

The AHRCF is defined by six capabilities, fifteen mapped core knowledge areas and ten behaviours.

Click the interactive visual above to learn about the behaviours, capabilities and core knowledge areas and what they mean for you as an HR professional.

To understand what the capability framework means for you, explore the microlearning module for an immersive experience of how to get started and ultimately walk away with a personalised pathway.

View the microlearning for a quick preview of the steps in your AHRCF learning journey, or if you have a few more minutes, take a deep dive – watch, listen and learn how our framework, capability analysis tool and a personalised pathway can help you build your HR capability.
