Program structure

AHRI’s BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resource Management is designed to set aspiring HR professionals up for success.

To gain this nationally recognised qualification, you’ll need to have completed 12 units of competency on the following topics:

There are no pre-requisites for entry into the program. However, if you are not currently working in an HR-related role, AHRI strongly encourages studying via virtual workshop delivery, which gives you the opportunity for facilitator-led sessions and peer discussions.

Virtual workshops (which are facilitator-led) are confirmed once AHRI receives a minimum number of enrolments. If virtual workshop delivery is cancelled, you can transfer to distance delivery (which is self-directed) and receive a refund of the cost difference, or you can defer your enrolment or request a full refund if you do not wish to study in a self-directed manner.

“Since completing the program, I have found my confidence has improved in my current role and I have been working on HR projects and higher-level work.”
