A Bear-y Special Photo Challenge

Celebrate International HR Day by taking our AHRI bear on a little adventure! Each state and territory is competing to show off the diversity, joy, and impact of HR careers across Australia.

AHRI will send each state councillor an AHRI bear. Councillors are invited to pass the bear on to an HR professional, encouraging them to scan the QR code on the bear’s shirt that will lead them to the instructions below.

How it works

You receive a bear

Someone in HR passed you the International HR Day travelling AHRI bear. That means they value your work and appreciate your commitment to the HR profession.

Take a photo

Snap a photo with the bear that highlights

  • Your workplace or team
  • A day-in-the-life of HR moment
  • A quirky or heartfelt snapshot of your HR world
  • Anything that shows the variety of HR careers across Australia!

HR professionals are everywhere in Australia, but not always in the same numbers in each state.
To even the playing field, we’re using a multiplier to boost smaller states’ contributions based on profession size data.
