Elizabeth Broderick AO
Biography
Elizabeth Broderick AO is a globally recognised leader in cultural transformation, gender equality, and inclusion. As Principal of EB&Co, she has led over 35 independent reviews of major institutions worldwide. As Australia’s longest-serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner (2007–2015), She championed landmark reforms including paid parental leave, establishing a national sexual harassment dataset, and examining the treatment of women in the ADF.
Elizabeth founded the Champions of Change strategy, now involving more than 270 CEOs driving inclusive leadership. A former UN Special Rapporteur (2017–2023), she has led UN country missions on women’s rights. She serves on international boards including Fondation CHANEL and holds multiple honorary appointments.
Her impact has been recognised with numerous honours, including Officer of the Order of Australia and NSW Australian of the Year.
