Credit transfer

Credit Transfer

Credit Transfer is the recognition of previously completed formal training and/or qualifications. If you are eligible, applying for a Credit Transfer will enable you to fast track your certification journey.

Your previous AHRI accredited postgraduate study may count towards credits for Units 1, 2 and/or 3 within the AHRI Practising Certification Program (APC).

Undergraduate degrees (bachelor’s) are not eligible for Credit Transfer of the APC Program as they are not equivalent AQF Level 8.

The APC Unit 4: Applied Project in Organisational Capability is not available for Credit Transfer.

Postgraduate courses accredited by AHRI

Postgraduates of an AHRI accredited course are eligible for direct Credit Transfer for Units 1, 2 and 3 of the APC Program, if you have completed your study within the past 10 years and the qualification was AHRI accredited at the time of completion and you can demonstrate 2+ years exposure in a HR generalist role.

To assess your eligibility you will need to complete the Credit Transfer Application Form, you will need to submit evidence that you have maintained involvement in the subject areas, to ensure currency of your knowledge and skills.

AHRI has partnered with several educational institutions to offer this pathway to eligible students at no cost.
