Making Job Sharing Work: A Live Demonstration of the Ultimate Job-Sharing Toolkit
Read more
Job sharing can help organisations retain experienced employees, expand access to flexible work and create more sustainable pathways into and through leadership. But successful job sharing requires more than simply dividing a full-time role between two people.
In this practical demonstration, CEOs for Gender Equity will showcase the Ultimate Job-Sharing Toolkit, an evidence-informed resource designed to help organisations, managers and employees establish, manage and strengthen job-share arrangements.
The session will demonstrate how People & Culture professionals, Leaders and Employees can use the toolkit to assess organisational and role readiness, design effective job-share arrangements, build the business case, establish clear accountability and handover processes, support managers and address common challenges.
Participants will see the toolkit in action, including its readiness diagnostics, Job-Share Budgeting Tool, practical templates and resources, implementation guidance and real-world case studies.
The session is designed to give HR professionals a practical view of how job sharing can move from an individual flexibility request to a structured workforce strategy that supports retention, capability and gender equity.

Could your people write something so clearly it only needs to be read once?
Poor communication costs organisations time, money and productivity. Unclear writing can lead to errors, rework, delays, misunderstandings, customer frustration and complaints.
Whether it’s an insurance policy, refund disclaimer, client proposal, mortgage statement or application form, people should be able to read something once and understand what they need to know and do.
The challenge is that while organisations recognise the importance of clear communication, building this capability at scale isn’t easy. Traditional workplace training can struggle to engage busy people, particularly when the subject matter is important but can feel dry or disconnected from everyday work.
In-Game Learning addresses that challenge by making learning something people want to do.
In-Game Learning is the home of The Plain Game, an online workplace training program that builds foundational plain language capability through game-based technology. At the heart of The Plain Game are animated animal characters whose personalities and attributes reflect the people and behaviours we recognise in everyday workplaces. There’s Cat, the office manager, keeping everything moving. Goat, the trainee, navigating workplace communication challenges. Owl, the plain language expert, providing guidance on how to communicate more clearly. And Duck, the workplace personality who is reluctant to embrace change.
These characters bring the learning to life. Through relatable workplace situations, learners see the characters grapple with communication problems, help solve the challenges they face and apply plain language principles in context.
The Plain Game combines education, experience and engagement through videos, educational content, quizzes and challenges. By immersing learners in the story, The Plain Game creates an experience designed to engage people and help the learning stick.

As HR teams plan for 2027, they are balancing growing compliance demands, disconnected systems and increasingly stretched managers. At the same time, they need a clearer view of workforce capability, skills and how AI is changing the way people work.
Join this live session to see how a connected HR platform can reduce manual work, bring workforce data into one place and give managers the context they need to lead with confidence. We’ll explore how HR can simplify core processes, create more consistent employee experiences and strengthen visibility across performance, engagement and development.
You’ll also see how AI can be applied practically to streamline everyday tasks, surface useful people insights and support better workforce decisions, without losing sight of trust, fairness and employee experience. n8n, for example, reduced the time spent on onboarding administration by 90% using HiBob, automation and AI.
For organisations weighing up the time and effort of change, the session will also show how a modern HR platform can deliver value quickly. Swapfiets went live across eight countries in eight months, replacing seven HR tools with one connected platform.
See how HR teams can move beyond fragmented processes and build the foundations for a more connected, capable workforce in 2027 and beyond.

In this live demonstration, foundU will showcase how HR and payroll teams can manage employee onboarding, rostering, time and attendance, and payroll in a single platform.
You’ll see digital onboarding and central employee profiles in action, as well as foundU’s configurable award engine, which can be supported by expert award interpretation advice through the HR advice line.
Learn how to streamline employee record management and see how you can automatically send that information straight into rostering and payroll for better compliance management.
