Team Resilience explored with Andy Roberts from Breathe Australia
November 24 @ 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM AEST
Free - $20.00QLD Townsville Network
According to Gallup’s 2026 state of the Global Workplace report, 49% of employees said they “experienced a lot of stress yesterday.” That’s up from 33% back in 2011. Under-35s and managers’ report carrying an even heavier burden. Heightened home and societal stress mean people are coming to work with a reduced bandwidth for managing complexity and change.
In this talk, Andy Roberts explores the underlying factors and how we need to focus on training to support both individual and team resilience. The outcomes you will take away include how to use PERMA(H) (positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishment) for personal resilience and how to connect teams by developing a common understanding of the challenges they face and the resources available to meet those challenges.
This session will also be valuable for:
People leaders, managers and team leaders
Organisational development, learning and development and wellbeing professionals
Business leaders with responsibility for leading and supporting teams
University students and emerging professionals with an interest in HR, leadership and workplace wellbeing
AHRI members are encouraged to invite colleagues or leaders from within their organisation who would benefit from developing practical approaches to individual and team resilience.
