LinkedIn for HR: Employer Brand | Talent Attraction | Workplace Visibility
September 15 @ 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM AEST
Free - $20.00NSW Mid North Coast Network
LinkedIn is often treated as a personal career platform, but for HR professionals it can be much more than that.
Used well, LinkedIn can help HR teams strengthen employer brand, make workplace culture more visible, support talent attraction and retention, and champion the people already doing great work inside the organisation.
In this practical and engaging session, LinkedIn specialist Karen Tisdell will show HR professionals how to think more strategically about LinkedIn – not just as a place for job ads or personal profiles, but as a visibility tool for culture, values, people and reputation.
The session will explore how HR can work more closely with leaders, employees and marketing teams to bring organisational values to life online, showcase real employee stories, and build stronger connection with current and future talent.
Attendees will leave with practical ideas they can apply immediately, including how to:
-
Check whether employees are correctly connected to the organisation’s LinkedIn page
-
Use LinkedIn to support employer branding and talent attraction
-
Encourage employee advocacy without making people feel pressured or awkward
-
Identify workplace stories that reflect organisational values in action
-
Help HR become more visible and influential inside and outside the organisation
-
Build stronger professional networks across their industry, sector and community
This 60-minute session will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for questions throughout.
