The Future-Ready Workforce: Reskilling for an AI-Shaped World of Work

September 2 @ 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM AEST

Free - $20.00

QLD State Council

AI is rewriting roles faster than most organisations can respond. For People & Culture leaders, the question is no longer whether to reskill the workforce — it’s how to do it with pace, intent and measurable impact.

Join AHRI and LHH for a breakfast designed for P&C leaders who are shaping that agenda. Together, AHRI and LHH will unpack the latest research on the future of work and what it means for reskilling, career mobility and building a future-ready workforce — translated into practical, do-it-Monday insight rather than just theory.

The centrepiece is a live, in-conversation interview: we will sit down with a leading Chief People Officer to explore how this is playing out in a real organisation — what’s working, what’s hard, and how the best People functions are turning workforce disruption into capability and growth.

Expect candid perspectives, room to challenge the thinking, and quality time to connect with fellow CPOs and P&C leaders over breakfast.

Target Audience

Senior People & Culture and HR leaders across South-East Queensland — Chief People Officers, HR Directors and Managers, Heads of Talent, L&D and Capability leaders, and AHRI members responsible for workforce strategy, reskilling and organisational change. Particularly relevant to leaders in mid-to-large organisations navigating AI-driven role change.

Speaker: Helen Burton, Executive Director Queensland, LHH

Helen leads LHH’s Queensland business and is a frequent presenter on career mobility, upskilling and reskilling. With deep experience helping organisations prepare their people for the future of work, Helen brings a practical, evidence-informed view of how P&C leaders can build future-ready capability and support workforce transformation.

Speaker: Dr Anna Blackman FCPHR — AHRI Queensland State President

Dr Anna Blackman is a workforce strategist, leadership expert and executive coach with more than 20 years’ experience across higher education, consulting and organisational leadership. She holds a PhD in Business Coaching and Leadership, and is known for turning big-picture workforce and culture concepts into practical, real-world actions leaders can take straight back to their workplace. As QLD State President of AHRI and Director of The Talent Table, Anna brings deep expertise in workforce planning, coaching and building leaders at every level.
