Q2 2026 Message
Dear AHRI SA members,
Welcome to the latest update from the AHRI SA State Council. It has been a wonderful start to the year, with several new forums successfully launched thanks to the support and enthusiasm of our new volunteers.
We are excited to see these communities grow and look forward to creating even more opportunities for members to connect, share insights and support one another throughout the year.
Congratulations to our newly HR Certified practitioners from last quarter! Scroll down to see the full list.
Introducing your new AHRI SA Council representatives
Thank you to all who participated in the AHRI State Council nominations and election earlier this year. Your enthusiasm and active involvement continue to make a meaningful difference to the work of our State Council.
With new Council members stepping into their roles from 1 July, I am pleased to introduce your new Council representatives, Brett Ey CPHR and Rachel Renshaw CPHR. Brett will be a familiar face to many through his volunteering and regular involvement at our events. Rachel steps into the role following her valued contribution as a co‑opted Council member over the past year. We also warmly congratulate Stephany Dobbelstein FCPHR as she begins her second term on Council and sincerely thank her for her continued commitment and service.
International HR Day – Celebrating Connection, Impact and Community
This year’s International HR Day on 20 May was a wonderful celebration of the people and impact behind our profession, with strong participation across South Australia.
We saw fantastic engagement both at our Adelaide Celebration event and within workplaces across the state, where many teams came together to recognise and celebrate the important role HR plays every day. It was inspiring to see so many professionals take the opportunity to connect, reflect and share in the moment.
The Adelaide event brought together South Australia’s HR community in a vibrant and energising atmosphere, creating space to strengthen connections, exchange ideas and acknowledge the collective contribution of our profession.
Thank you to everyone who participated, hosted workplace celebrations or joined us in Adelaide. Your enthusiasm and engagement made this year’s International HR Day a truly meaningful and memorable occasion.
