Catherine Bell

Catherine Bell is a seasoned Organisational Development Consultant, Executive Coach, and Director of Bell Training Group with over 24 years of experience across government, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors. As a Fellow and certified practitioner with the Australian HR Institute (FCPHR), she brings a wealth of strategic thinking and business acumen to the classroom, having partnered with executive teams globally to build high-performing organisations. She is passionate about helping the next generation of HR leaders to step into more strategic practice, enhancing the reach, visibility and impact of HR in organisations. 

Catherine’s expertise is rooted in her ability to link HR initiatives directly to organisational success and employee wellbeing. Her track record includes developing L&D frameworks for international luxury hotel groups; driving significant performance and business improvements in multiple businesses through targeted HR initiatives and driving strategic leadership development initiatives for major organisations like The Salvation Army, IPAA, and BMW.  

In her sessions, Catherine is known for her high-energy, active, and practical teaching style. She specialises in creating supportive learning environments for rich, open discussion and applied, practical outcomes – so that students walk away energised and ready to take action! She is widely respected for her ability to translate complex behavioural research into clear, immediate strategies to create long-lasting change. 

Catherine holds a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology, a Bachelor of Business, multiple Coaching & Training qualifications and is an Internationally Credentialed Coach with the ICF. She is currently pursuing further postgraduate studies with ACU.
