[Webinar On-Demand] Rethinking and rebuilding the Entry Level Role: AI, Early Careers and the Future
October 9, 2026 @ 8:00 AM - December 31, 2028 @ 8:00 AM AEDT
Free - $75.00
AI is beginning to change not only how entry-level work is performed, but what it means to be work-ready in the first place.
Routine research, analysis, administration, drafting and coordination have traditionally given new employees a way to learn the organisation, build professional judgement and gradually take on greater responsibility. As AI absorbs, accelerates or reshapes this work, early-career employees may contribute to more complex tasks sooner, however, they may also lose some of the experiences through which expertise was previously developed.
For employers, this creates a strategic tension: how do we realise AI-enabled productivity without weakening graduate pathways, workforce diversity, corporate knowledge and the pipeline of future specialists and leaders?
Bringing together leading senior HR practitioners from the university, public and private sectors, our panel will explore how organisations are responding. The conversation will examine what is happening to graduate and entry-level roles, how recruitment and learning models need to evolve, what capabilities should be protected or newly developed and where employers, educators and governments need to collaborate.
Participants will leave with practical questions and design principles they can apply to workforce planning, job design, early-career development, talent acquisition and learning strategy.
