Course Overview – Eliminating Sexual Harassment from your Workplace
This challenging course will give you the skills and tools to eliminate the systemic and social causes and enablers of sexual harassment in your workplace. It covers legislative definitions and obligations, case law, cultural indicators and response strategies, and sensitive and supportive handling of complaints and investigations. Not just for HR professionals, this course will help managers and leaders understand and perform their role in eliminating sexual harassment.

Target Audience  
All people identifying or responding to sexual harassment in the workplace.

Key Learning Outcomes
Following the training, participants will be able to:

• Interpret and apply legislative definitions and employer obligations relating to sexual harassment.

• Identify and respond to the systemic and social causes of sexual harassment.

• Identify and respond to opportunities for early intervention and prevention in your workplace culture.

• Support parties, including diverse parties, affected by sexual harassment.

• Identify, document, and respond to indicators of a hostile environment.

• Build reporting and complaints systems which remove barriers for parties affected by sexual harassment.

• Support sexual harassment complaints and investigations, including he-said, she-said matters.

• Manage risk, privacy and fairness when responding to sexual harassment.

• Lead and build capability of others to prevent sexual harassment.
