Course Overview – AI: 101 for HR
Build the confidence to use AI effectively, responsibly and securely in your everyday HR work. AI 101 for HR is AHRI’s first fully on-demand eLearning short course. Across eight self-paced, 15-minute modules, you will learn practical AI skills through guided exercises and worked HR examples. The course covers prompting, governance, sensitive information and the verification of AI-generated work. The learning is platform-agnostic, so you can apply it across tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude. Complete the course independently, at your own pace, through Canvas.

An HR prompt sheet with proven prompts for organisational development, employee and industrial relations, recruitment, talent management, and learning and development

A governance guide to consult before entering HR information into an AI tool

A check-the-work checklist for verifying AI outputs before they reach an employee, manager or document of record
