Dear AHRI VIC members,

Welcome to the latest update from AHRI VIC State Council. The VIC Council and I are looking forward to connecting with many of you at our upcoming International HR Day events, the State Conference on 2 June at Pullman Melbourne on the Park, and a range of other networking opportunities throughout the year.

Congratulations to our newly HR Certified practitioners from last quarter! Scroll down to see the full list.

Introducing your new AHRI VIC Council representatives

Thank you to all who participated in the AHRI State Council nominations and election earlier this year. Your enthusiasm and active involvement continue to make a meaningful difference to the work of our State Council.

With new Council members stepping into their roles from 1 July, I am pleased to introduce your new Council representatives, Shane Cameron CPHR, Jess Johnston CPHR and Kerry Young FCPHR.

Congratulations to Julie Coleman FCPHR and Alexis Donachie CPHR on their reappointment for another term following the renomination earlier this year. I am pleased to share that I have been reappointed for another term.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to our outgoing Council members, Daniel Cogan FCPHR and Natacha Razavi CPHR, for the knowledge, time and energy they have so generously contributed.

Daniel has been a highly valued contributor to the AHRI Victorian community, serving on the VIC State Council for nearly seven years, including as Secretary and as lead of the Advocacy portfolio. He has also supported the profession as an AHRI Awards judge from 2022 to 2025 and is a passionate advocate for certification and the advancement of HR.

Natacha has been a highly valued member of the VIC State Council for the past three years, most recently serving as Vice President. During this time, she has made a significant contribution to strengthening member engagement and connection across the state. She is a strong advocate for certification and is particularly respected for her leadership of VIC networking initiatives, her support of convenors and her commitment to embodying AHRI’s connection pillar.
