Biography

Psychologist, author, and entrepreneur Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic uses science and tech to help organisations predict human performance. An international authority in psychological profiling, talent management, leadership development, and people analytics, Dr. Tomas’s commercial work focuses on the creation of science-based tools that not only improve organisations’ ability to predict performance but also people’s ability to understand themselves.  

He is currently Chief Innovation Officer at Manpower Group, co-founder of Deeper Signals and Metaprofiling, and Professor of Business Psychology at University College London and Columbia University. He has previously held academic positions at New York University and the London School of Economics, and lectured at Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School, London Business School, IMD, and INSEAD, as well as being the CEO of Hogan Assessment Systems.  

A prolific author, Dr. Tomas has written 10 books and over 150 scientific papers on the psychology of talent, leadership, creativity, and innovation, making him one of the most prolific social scientists of his generation. He is also the founding director of University College London’s Industrial-Organizational and Business Psychology program, and the Chief Psychometric Advisor to Harvard’s Entrepreneurial Finance Lab. His latest book is I, Human: AI, automation, and the quest to reclaim what makes us unique.
