Upgrade your membership level to access full membership benefits and have your level of work experience, expertise and seniority recognised.

 

You can upgrade to:

Upgrade to AHRI Fellowship (FAHRI)

 If you are currently an AHRI professional member (MAHRI or CAHRI) and you now fulfill the requirements of an AHRI Fellow (FAHRI), you can upgrade your membership in the following steps:

  1. Download and complete two forms: the Professional member upgrade application form and the Fellow membership submission form 
  2. Attach the required supporting documents (Refer to the AHRI Fellow Submission Guide
  3. Provide payment details of non-refundable $58 upgrade assessment fee
  4. Email both completed forms with your supporting documents to enquiries@ahri.com.au

Is your membership is linked to an AHRI organisation membership?

If so, you don't need to complete any application form or pay the assessment fee, to upgrade to an AHRI Fellowship. Simply email your CV to organisationmember@ahri.com.au

Note: Upgrades to CAHRI are no longer available as at 31 December 2017. Applicants can no longer be admitted to the CAHRI membership level.

 

Upgrade to AHRI professional membership (MAHRI) 

If you are currently an AHRI graduate member (GAHRI) or affiliate member and you now fulfill the requirements of an AHRI professional member (MAHRI), you can upgrade your membership in the following steps:

  1. Download and complete the Professional member upgrade application form
  2. Attach any required supporting documents 
  3. Provide payment details of non-refundable $58 upgrade assessment fee
  4. Email the completed form with your supporting documents to enquiries@ahri.com.au

Upgrade from your student membership

If you have recently graduated and would like to upgrade your paid AHRI student membership to an AHRI graduate member (GAHRI) or professional member (MAHRI) and you now fulfill their respective requirements, you can upgrade your membership in the following steps:

  1. Download and complete student upgrade form 
  2. Attach evidence of your completed qualification and your CV
  3. Email completed form with your supporting documents to enquiries@ahri.com.au

Are you a free student member and wish to access paid student membership benefits? Login to your AHRI profile to upgrade to a paid student membership and access your benefits immediately.

Q. How do I know which membership level I'm at now?

Visit your profile on the AHRI website (you'll need to login first) and look for your member type in the top left-hand corner.

Q. How do I know if I’m an individual member or if I'm linked to an organisation membership?

If you are linked to an organisation membership your member type will say "Corporate" before your membership level e.g Corporate MAHRI

Q. How long does it take for my upgrade application to be reviewed?

Upgrades are normally processed within 10 business days for all membership levels except FAHRI. FAHRI applications can take several weeks to be reviewed.

Q. How will I know if my application has been approved?

All upgrade applicants will be notified of the outcome via email when it has been approved. Upgrade packs will also be posted out (except for free student members upgrading to paid student members) and will include a new certificate of membership.

Q. I am a CAHRI member. How can I renew or upgrade my membership?

As of 1 January 2018 AHRI will no longer be admitting new, lapsed, rejoining or upgrading applicants to the CAHRI membership level. If you have a current CAHRI membership, you will be able to retain this level of AHRI membership in perpetuity, as long as your membership remains current into the future and you continue to meet your CPD obligations.
