If you have over 5 years’ experience working in HR or people management, or an undergraduate degree (or higher) and 2 years’ experience working in HR, you qualify for professional membership.
As a professional member, you can be recognised for your expertise by using the MAHRI post-nominal, and you are eligible to apply for HR certification to take your career to new heights.

As a Certified HR Practitioner you can wear your CPHR post-nominal with pride. This signals to your professional community that you’ve been assessed against global best-practice HR benchmarks, and that you’ve got the skills to be a strategic business partner and influencer in your business.
If you are an existing Professional MAHRI member, or you’ve got over five years of HR/people management experience, you’re eligible to apply to become a certified member.
AHRI’s National Certification Council, which is made up of a selection of senior HR experts, awards certification to those who’ve completed an AHRI certification pathway.

An AHRI fellowship is the highest membership level you can achieve. The FCPHR post-nominal is reserved for senior HR leaders who are proven influencers and strategists, and can demonstrate a high level of theoretical and practical HR knowledge.
If you’re an existing AHRI member who has made significant contributions to the HR profession, and you’ve been working in the industry for 10+ years (five of which were spent in a senior leadership or management position), this is the membership level for you.
Apply to become a Certified Fellow via the Senior Leaders Pathway to certification , or the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s (CIPD) reciprocal membership pathway.
