Credit Transfer is the recognition of previously completed formal training and/or qualifications. If you are eligible, applying for a Credit Transfer will enable you to fast track your certification journey.
Your previous postgraduate study may count towards credits for Units 1, 2 and/or 3 within the AHRI Practising Certification Program (APC).
The APC Unit 4: Applied Project in Organisational Capability is not available for Credit Transfer.
Postgraduate courses accredited by AHRI
Postgraduates of an AHRI accredited course are automatically eligible for direct Credit Transfer for Units 1, 2 and 3 of the APC Program if you have completed your study within the past 10 years.
To be eligible, you will need to submit evidence that you have maintained involvement in the subject areas, to ensure currency of your knowledge and skills.

How to apply for credit transfer
Before you proceed please ensure you have an active AHRI membership. For membership information, please see here or call Member Career Support team on 1300 811 880.
Step 1. Complete the enrolment form and upload your documents
To enrol for Credit Transfer, have the below documents ready for submission:
1. A copy of your current CV;
2. A certified copy of your AHRI accredited postgraduate qualification testamur; and
3. A completed Credit Transfer application Form Download Credit Transfer application form
4. Please complete the online enrolment form* and upload the above documents.
* PLEASE NOTE: online enrolment forms submitted less that 48 hours prior to the enrolment close date will be assessed and may granted for the next trimester. Please refer to trimester dates below.
Step 2. Notification of outcome
You will be notified of your Credit Transfer outcome within 5 business days.
Step 3. Enrol for Capstone Unit 4
If your Credit Transfer outcome is successful, you are eligible to apply for the Capstone Unit 4 Applied project in organisational capability, you must have a Professional Membership (MAHRI) active.
