The Academic Pathway (AP) offers experienced and senior academics an opportunity to become a Certified Academic HR, in recognition of their professional contribution to HR thinking and knowledge, through academic research and/or teaching.
This pathway allows eligible senior academics to showcase their research, teaching excellence and industry engagement through
Eligible candidates who successfully complete the Academic Pathway towards HR academic certification are awarded by the NCC one of two levels of certified academic membership or non-certified level of academic membership. Click the links below to view the criteria for each level:

Professor or Senior Academic position; Director of Research, Professorial Research Fellow
Senior or Principal Lecturer, Senior Teaching Fellow, Curriculum Leader; Senior/Principal Researcher or Research Fellow; Lecturer and evidence of substantial HR research/teaching and learning contribution
