Joanna Boston is a qualified lawyer, WA licensed agency investigator, and nationally accredited mediator. 

With over twenty years’ experience as a lawyer and HR Practitioner, Joanna operates Joanna Boston Consulting, providing services to private legal practice, consulting, government integrity and the mining sector. 

Drawing on her knowledge and experience, Joanna now specialises in dealing with allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour and organisational/cultural reviews. Joanna is highly regarded for her integrity, fairness, and objectivity and undertakes complex and often sensitive enquiries in a thoughtful, balanced, and consultative manner.  Evidence led, Joanna’s methodologies and processes are rigorous and reflect investigative best practice. Procedural fairness and participant welfare are paramount. Joanna treats all parties with respect, empathy, and objectivity.   

Joanna has been invited to present at a range of events, most recently the Investigations Workshop held by the Industrial Relations Society of WA and the Piddington Society (Legal society) – Perth, February 2024 (presenting on the art of the interview).
