Jean-Pierre, or JP as most know him, has an Honours degree in Commerce and a Masters degree in Business Administration. He is a certified fraud and computer examiner and holds various certifications in computer and mobile forensics, as well as Electronic Discovery.

In April 2003, JP started at Ferrier Hodgson as Manager Forensic Accounting. Over the next five years, JP established a computer forensics practice and was subsequently promoted to Partner, Forensic IT in January 2008, responsible for fraud and computer forensic investigations.

In 2019, JP started his own Independent Forensic IT company, JP Forensics.

During his career JP has imaged hundreds of computers and mobile phones, investigating all sorts of matters from sexual harassment to murder allegations. JP is well regarded as an expert witness in the Australian Courts and has provided evidence on numerous occasions.
