Biography
Neil is a Sydney-based partner in Pinsent Masons’ global Employment & Reward team. He has specialised in Workplace Relations law since 1986. With a reputation for achieving clarity from complexity, Neil’s focus is on helping employers achieve their goals against a backdrop of ever-changing and increasingly complex workplace laws.
Neil’s particular areas of expertise include: strategic industrial relations advice, workplace strategies for business, resolving industrial disputes, negotiating and drafting workplace agreements, advocacy before industrial tribunals, legislative interpretation, investigating workplace misconduct, drafting executive contracts, conducting business protection employment litigation including enforcing restraints of trade and recovering confidential information/IP, defending general protections, unfair dismissal, unlawful discrimination and contract claims, workplace safety matters – litigation, training and advice, including workplace bullying and harassment; advising on anti-discrimination and workplace privacy matters, including surveillance and drafting and implementing drug and alcohol policies and procedures.
