Biography

Lainie Tayler is the Chief of Staff for Carman’s Kitchen. With over 25 years’ human resources experience Lainie has worked in large global and local organisations specialising in business strategy, organisational development, leadership development, talent management and generalist human resources. 

Lainie believes that the key to an organisation’s success and longevity is a clearly communicated and understood business strategy, enabled through the quality of its leaders and organisational operating rhythm. 

“Getting the People stuff right is so important, we know that a people mindset is the biggest lever you can pull to ensure sustained financial and cultural success in an organisation. However, it is important that this is supported by a clearly designed and understood business strategy.” 

Lainie has worked with some of Australia’s most influential organisations including North Mining, adidas, GE, Country Road, Telstra and Asciano. 

Lainie has deep expertise in organisational development and talent management and in addition to her role at Carman’s Kitchen is a qualified executive performance coach. 

From humble beginnings, Carman’s has proudly celebrated its 30th birthday and is Australia’s number one selling muesli brand along with being a leader of deliciously good for you bars and nutritional snacks. Over the last 5 years Carman’s has shifted the dial on engagement from 88% to 96% and values all things integrity and innovation in everything they do. 

Outside of work you will find Lainie on the golf course, in the kitchen cooking for close friends or being taxi mum to two teenagers.
