Mark Vickers is an HR and Talent Acquisition leader with global experience across multiple industries. Since 2021, Mark has been Director, APAC Talent Acquisition at Stanley Black & Decker with a focus on building a Centre of Excellence (COE) for Talent Acquisition across the region to provide recruitment and employer branding services to 13 diverse countries. Before joining Stanley Black & Decker, Mark held several global and regional leadership roles in HR and Talent Acquisition for a variety of international and local organisations including Worley, AECOM, Rio Tinto, Bombardier, Queensland Health, and SPX FLOW. He has built and implemented Talent Acquisition COE models, driven operational HR and Recruitment service improvements, and acted as a cross-functional project team member driving multiple initiatives including talent projects, and culture and engagement initiatives.

Currently, Mark is interested in exploring the intersection of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Sourcing Talent. As a passionate supporter of sustainable talent acquisition practices, Mark takes every opportunity to encourage discussion around the potential merger of OSINT, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. Outside of work, Mark is a father, OSINT student, runner, and cross-fit participant.
