Founder and Principal or Diversity Knowhow, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is Fiona’s passion. She works with employers to narrow the gap between their diversity rhetoric and reality by accelerating their D&I agenda. She loves developing D&I strategy and educating, enabling, and empowering leaders and staff to shift D&I mindsets, systems, and workplace culture, to increase staff engagement, fairness, innovation, performance, and growth. With more than 20 years’ senior leadership and D&I experience in government, not–for–profit, tertiary education, and private sector leadership roles, Fiona sets up leaders and organisations for D&I success.
She is a certified member of the AHRI, an AHRI D&I awards judge, and a founding member of the AHRI Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Panel. Fiona is currently D&I Lead at Uniting NSW.ACT. Her previous D&I leadership roles have included Head of Diversity & Inclusion at University of Sydney, Head of Diversity at ANZ, Westpac, Esso Australia, and Victorian Department of Agriculture. Over the past ten years she has also worked with clients from across a wide range of industry sectors, including health, policing, community housing, energy, transport and roads, universities, financial services, mining, and retail. In 2014, Fiona launched her book “Diversity Unplugged – how leading CEOs champion workplace inclusion.”
