Biography

Pip Dexter is driven to help make people’s lives better by improving their experiences at work. This isn’t an easy challenge but one that energises Pip, and she has dedicated her career to it. Pip’s aim is to influence and shape the whole system of work and design it in a way that drives better outcomes for individuals, business and community. As the Chief People and Purpose Officer at Deloitte Australia, Pip is responsible for the workforce agenda (~13,000 people) including how they transform work for the modern age, fuelled by a culture of wellbeing, belonging and performance. Pip is also a member of the National Executive Leadership team. She has over 25 years of experience in improving business performance and organisational change, working with senior business leaders across a range of industries. One of Pip’s proudest moments has been shaping Deloitte’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion strategy and the launch of the “Making work work for families” initiative announced on International Women’s Day 2022. This builds on the firm’s 20+ year commitment to advancing gender equity with a particular focus on supporting families at work.

Outside of work, Pip loves spending time with her family, and being outside either in her garden or on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
