Barbara Sheehy AAICD [she/her] is a proud Birri Gubba woman based in Meanjin, Brisbane and currently holds the position of Director Indigenous Affairs, Sodexo Australia. Barbara’s most recent previous role was National Indigenous Manager at Australia Post.

In 2004 Barb was the recipient of an Indigenous Leadership Scholarship from the Institute Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) and is passionate about youth and social justice issues calling for true systemic changes that empower future generational leaders, strong in culture, identity, knowledge, and connection.

Barb’s executive career spans national and international public and private enterprises, government, and community not-for-profit and non-profit sectors. Throughout her career Barb has been committed to shaping and leading reconciliation strategies by advocating for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion best practices and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices within boardrooms and workplaces across Corporate Australia.
