Sugandha Chapman (she/her)
Biography
Sugandha (Sig) is a multi-passionate leader who thrives at the intersection of human-centered design, purpose, and technology. She is dedicated to driving diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating working environments where everyone can flourish.
In her professional capacity, Sig currently serves as the Senior Manager of Client Delivery at Inkling Group, helping lead their D&I practice. With nearly two decades of rich experience spanning corporate consulting, the NFP sector, and tech startups, she combines her consulting expertise and credentialed executive coach with her drive, partnering with organisations and leaders globally to foster institutional cultures of wellbeing, inclusion, & peak performance. By offering strategic advisory services and spearheading world-class leadership programs, she empowers organisations to view DEI as a business strategy, not just a social responsibility.
In her journey towards promoting equity, Sig has recognised the significant challenges that stem from mental health, especially in the South Asian community. Formally diagnosed with ADHD at 39, she combines her personal insights with her identity as the daughter of first-generation Indian immigrants, to enhance understanding and awareness around mental health nuances in the community.
In her endeavours to uplift underrepresented voices, she serves on the diversity and inclusion committee for the Australian Computer Society and is a vocal advocate on the advisory board for Umeed Psychology. As part of her intentional portfolio career, Sig also invests in the next generation of leadership by mentoring emerging female leaders through STEM Sisters and Future Women.
Sig’s expertise and human-centered approach have positioned her as a sought-after keynote speaker and thought leader in the DEIB sphere. Her mission has always been to empower ambitious change leaders, aiding them in realizing impactful transformations in their personal and professional realms.
Away from her professional pursuits, Sig finds joy in her roles as a mother to two wonderful children and a fur-mum to three rescue animals. And if you’re ever wondering about a quick way to her heart? It might just be through Smiths crinkle-cut salt+vinegar chips and a good K-drama episode.
