This session will feature two speakers who will compare the current state of People Analytics globally with the Australian experience. It will also include a case study of the Tabcorp story.

You will gather insights and tips on building a successful, digital and scalable People Analytics practice, and learn about Tabcorp’s reporting and people analytics journey.

Speaker: Tony Ashton, Chief Product Officer, One Model
Tony has been a pioneer in the people analytics field for over 25 years. Tony creatively blends generalist HR skills and technology, with deep experience in Analytics, Workforce Planning, Strategic HR, Industrial Relations, Recruiting, Learning & Performance Management.

After 10+ years of HR in the public sector, Tony joined Infohrm and led analytics adoption services for Infohrm customers in Australia. He then ran Workforce Analytics & Planning Product Management at Infohrm, SuccessFactors and SAP.
Tony is passionate about creating new technologies to help harness the power of people and is currently Chief Product Officer at One Model.

Speaker: Hasanthi Peiris, People Analytics & Insights Lead, Tabcorp
Hasanthi is currently working as People Analytics & Insights Lead at Tabcorp. Prior to Tabcorp, she has broad range of experience in various roles in Banking and financial sector as well as state government organisations, where she worked in various reporting & analytics roles in P&C as well as in cross functional teams. Hasanthi is keen to build a solid, accurate and reliable base of people data for business stakeholders to self-serve and improve data-led decision making. She is a keen advocate of automation and process improvement. Currently she is also exploring opportunities to use machine learning and predictive analytics to build models, to understand business issues and provide proactive solutions.
