Mental Resilience Workshop – Developing psychological flexibility

March 7 @ 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM AEST

QLD Mackay Network
Join us for a Mental Resilience Workshop with Harley Stansfield & Rachel Mundy, from their family-owned business, Bluegum Place Psychology.

Mental Resilience can be developed through psychological flexibility and is helpful for coping with stress and burnout, building mental clarity, and even treating mild mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Building psychological flexibility is an engaging experience and can be fun activity especially when done in a group. If you’re feeling cloudy, stressed, down, burnout, or even just want additional clarity of thought, feeling, and actions, come and participate in our engaging workshop aimed to cultivate acceptance of internal experiences, clarify your life values, and build the confidence to move toward your goals.

We haven’t put together a dusty old lecture. There will be no long-winded PowerPoint or note taking. We hope you’ll get your mind active as we take you through some guided activities, including discussions, mindfulness experiences, personal reflections, and guided imagery. We’ll also spend some time discussing the next steps if you want to cultivate psychological flexibility practices into your day to day life, and will make ourselves available for any questions you might have about mental health and fostering mental wellbeing.
