The Queensland AHRI International HR Network are delighted to invite you to the next event – End of Assignment: Localisation and Repatriation. This session will explore the unique challenges and opportunities faced in repatriating an employee at the end of the assignment.
We will also delve into strategies to assist with reintegration once the employee has returned home and how to navigate an emergency repatriation. Finally, we will explore localisation and hear about the experiences of an expat.

Please join us for the presentation either in person or online via Zoom and come prepared with your questions. For those who are able to join us in person, KPMG will host a short networking session after the presentation.

Target Audience
HR professionals repatriating employees.

Speaker: Mark Willmot, Director, Risk Solutions- Australia & NZ
Over the last 12 years, Mark has worked with and developed teams in the resources, infrastructure, manufacturing and professional services sectors in Australia, APAC, and Africa.
As a director for Australia & New Zealand at International SOS, Mark leads a team entirely focused on enabling organizations to be more resilient, operate safely and grow their global markets productively.
Passionately specialising in the areas of employee wellbeing and people risk mitigation, he likes nothing more than partnering with organisations to proactively assist them to fulfil their duty of care obligations to their employees and the communities in which they operate.
Speaker: Audrey Bevan, HR director, Accent HR
Audrey Bevan has gained extensive cultural and deep technical HR insights from working across Europe and APAC for over 15 years. As a globally experienced HR Director and AHRI Fellow, she has often dealt with the full range of HR challenges.
Poorly performing teams, conflict between staff, frustrated managers, big ambitious transformation initiatives that fall short of the expected result, and so much more. Her observation from this experience is that a large proportion of people and performance related issues in the workplace come from cultural misunderstandings. This is the problem she specializes in resolving with her consultancy Accent HR.

Audrey has lived and was educated in France. Her career then took her to the UK, Singapore, and now to Australia. She has personally lived and worked through the challenges, complexities and opportunities that multicultural and multi-location workplaces bring.
