Speaker: Felicity Edwards – Workplace Partner at Sparke Helmore

Felicity Edwards, Partner at Sparke Helmore, specialises in Workplace, Industrial, and Employment Relations. She advises clients across the public and private sectors on employment, discrimination, workplace, and industrial relations matters, including workplace investigations.

Felicity has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal jurisdictions, including advocacy in cases involving unfair dismissals, industrial disputes (such as applications for good faith bargaining orders), general protections claim, reinstatement of injured workers, contractual disputes, and anti-discrimination proceedings.

 

Speaker: Linda White –People and Culture Leader

Linda White, Director of Sterling Leadership, is an accomplished people and culture leader with extensive experience as a strategic business partner, working closely with executives and senior leaders. With a career spanning financial services, education, telecommunications, engineering, and not-for-profit sectors across ANZ, Fiji, Singapore, and China, she has successfully aligned people strategies with organisational objectives to drive business success. Most recently, Linda spent three years with Study Group as a Senior HR Business Partner, where she played a key role in driving strategic HR initiatives and supporting leadership teams in a dynamic, global education environment.

With a strong understanding of industrial relations frameworks and employment law, Linda ensures organisations maintain legal and ethical standards while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability. She is experienced in enterprise agreement negotiations, workplace investigations, and managing employee relations matters, including disputes and union engagement. Linda has also led large-scale organisational restructures, redundancy, and redeployment programs, ensuring they are handled with dignity and fairness.

Breckon Jones is a Global HR leader, currently shaping People & Workplace Experience at Aware Super, Australia’s leading superannuation fund. In addition, Breckon provides strategic board advisory services to HR tech scale-ups like AgileHR Analytics which is using AI to transform how HR teams gain insight from data. Known for leading innovative initiatives, Breckon has significantly contributed to the missions of multi-billion dollar companies by attracting top talent, engaging and motivating high performance, and delivering world-leading service within cultures of ESG and wellbeing.
