HR Leaders: From Partnering with the Business to being a Part of the Business

FreeThis breakfast forum will be run as a conversation with 3 – 4 panel members. These experienced panel members have all transitioned from working in senior HR roles to holding broader corporate roles and operating as strategic business leaders.
The panel members will outline their own career journeys and discuss what they believe has been critical to the success of their transitions, as well as the capabilities and attributes that support the roles they now play as business leaders, value creators and stakeholder managers.

Clare Murphy is Executive Director – Organisational Enablement at EACH, a large, complex health and social service organisation with 1600 staff and volunteers that operates in Vic, Qld, NSW, ACT and Tasmania.
Clare commenced at EACH as the HR Director before moving into her current role which encompasses responsibility for IT, HR, Finance, Infrastructure, Quality and Risk and the National Access and Intake Service.
Clare has 25 years’ experience as an HR professional in Senior roles across social and community health, hospitals, education, hospitality and legal. Clare is FCPHR and was winner of the Dave Ulrich HR Leader of the Year in 2016.
Speaker: Andrew Cameron
Andrew is a dynamic leader with extensive multi-sector governance, executive, and global consulting experience. Currently, his executive role is centred on building evidence for and mobilising leaders around solutions to emerging and persistent workforce challenges across 13 industries predominantly based in rural and remote Australia.
Andrew’s ability to integrate his broad HR background into his executive, consulting, and governance roles has been instrumental to his success. He focuses on creating strategic impact in complex operating environments through organisational strategy, solution design and risk processes which are effectively informed by people and culture insights and inferences.
