“Difficult Personalities in the Workplace”

Judy Porter, Leadership, Culture and Performance Specialist from Shiift will take us on an engaging journey to improve our understanding of different personalities in the workplace.

The session will cover:
• Understanding the impact in the workplace on you, the team, & the business
• 18 different personalities will be discussed
• Strategies to work alongside all 18 personalities
• Understanding intentions & triggers
• What type are you?

Personalities include: The almost genius, Guilt Trippers, Dramatic, The Controller, Avoider, Needy, Bully, Egomaniac, Pessimist, Complainer, Pleaser, Gossip, Blamer, Victim, Passive-aggressive, Paranoid, Anger-addicts / hostility hot-shot, Narcissist)

We will also have Debbie Knight, President of the Grapevine Group, a local organisation committed to delivering free suicide prevention training in the Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday region.

HR Practitioners and business leaders from all industries and professions are welcome to attend this event.

With over 25+ years’ experience as a successful multi-industry business owner, combined with a Psychology degree majoring in Organisational Behaviour (BBeSt Psych), Judy brings pivotal insights and a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her clients.

Judy’s business experience coupled with her passion for ‘what drives behaviour’ creates a formidable framework for helping businesses’ thrive! From start-up to managing over 250 employees Judy has firsthand experience of the difficulties faced in implementing sustainable positive change that actually works. Judy’s passion for challenging the status quo, understanding personality types, communication and leadership styles teamed with her own personal business experience is what makes Shiift’s programs relatable, achievable and successful.

Debbie is a National Suicide Prevention Australia LiFE Award Recipient (Community Engagement) and President of the Grapevine Group. The Grapevine Group is a locally founded grassroots organisation committed to suicide prevention. Since 2004, we have operated solely on the support of our community. As a proud member of Suicide Prevention Australia, we aim to offer help where it’s needed the most—in the heart of our communities in Mackay, Isaac, and Whitsunday.
