In this keynote presentation, Psychosocial Safety and mental health and wellbeing specialist Bill Carson will share insights and key strategies to assist you on your psychosocial safety journey, aligning your thinking around compliance with the cultural aspects of this legal requirement. In light of the evolving workplace health and safety landscape, particularly with the updated Safe Work Australia guidelines on psychosocial risk management, it is critical for organisations to proactively address workplace mental health and wellbeing.

Bill Carson is a visionary leader in psychosocial safety, mental health, wellbeing, and resilience, known for his work as an author, speaker, facilitator, and coach.

He is dedicated to helping individuals and communities overcome mental health challenges. With his guidance, many have developed skills to improve their mental and emotional well-being and build resilience.

 

Bill presented at TEDxBells Beach on 14 October 2024. Bill is highly sought-after in the field of mental health, resilience, mindfulness and compassion.

He has also volunteered over 650 hours as a Lifeline Volunteer Telephone Crisis Supporter. Recently, he published his first book titled “SAFE Conversations for Work and Life”, offering insights on how to have meaningful mental health and wellbeing conversations that can make a difference in someone’s life. In addition, Bill’s company Inspire Learning Australia Pty Ltd offers workshops, online trainings, courses as well as membership options.
