This AHRCF micro-credential is designed to elevate HR professionals into strategic partners within their organisations. It focuses on alignment of HR strategy with the overarching business strategy while fostering a culture of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I).
Key Learning Outcomes
Participants will explore:

Strategic Leadership: Explore leadership theories, frameworks, styles, and historical perspectives, along with effective motivation strategies. Build confidence and capability to align HR interventions with business outcomes, demonstrating the strategic value of HR in driving organisational success.

HR Strategy: Develop insights into business planning processes, formulate HR strategies that enable organisational objectives, and effectively communicate and report on HR’s strategic contributions to stakeholders.

Business Acumen: Learn the language and tools to understand fundamental aspects of corporate operations, including commercial acumen, budgeting, procurement, key performance indicators (KPIs), the principles and practices of effective corporate governance and risk management and how to apply a business lens to HR actions.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I): Learn about how to embed practices and cultural norms that value diversity, support equity, and embrace inclusion.

Ethical Practice: Develop your cultural competence, emotional intelligence, and skills for ethical decision-making, and craft your own personal brand and values.

Culture: Design and steward the desired organisational culture that reflects shared values, practices, and beliefs, driving.
Course Delivery
With a focus on practical application, we have curated a range of resources in various formats to suit your unique needs and preferences, and to support your development journey.
Participants can expect to undertaker between 25-40 hours of study over the 6 weeks, although individual experiences may vary.

Choose Your Own Adventure: Materials are designed for flexibility. Based on confidence and proficiency in each skill and knowledge area, participants can decide how much content to engage with.

Knowledge Checks: There are various reflection exercises to further apply learning and deepen capability.

Case Study: Tasks have been provided for to put learning into practice and enhance participant overall skill development in the capability areas and assist with assessment readiness.

By registering and purchasing this Micro-Credential you confirm that you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold Professional MAHRI membership or higher.
And
- Have more than two years’ experience in an HR role,
- Have foundational knowledge of this capability area, and
- Understand the learning content is designed at the AQF level 8 equivalent to advance me to the Emerging Leader level of the AHRCF.

- Registrations will open 90 days before course commencement
- Micro-Credential registrations are available to AHRI members only – MAHRI level or higher
- By registering for a Micro-Credential, participants verify and declare they meet the eligibility criteria entry requirements
- Registrations for each Micro-Credential close seven (7) days prior to course commencement date
- Withdrawals are refundable minus administration fees, and transfers are accepted prior registration close date
- Request for withdrawals / transfers made after registrations close date will incur a fee
- Request for withdrawals / transfers after course commencement date are not accepted and non-refundable
- Substitutions are accepted in alignment with program T&C and AHRI must be notified prior to course commencement
- The program fees published are subject to change
- AHRI membership is non-refundable
