Are you keen to understand the critical role of HRBP, and to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices facing and shaping the HRBP function? Since the inception of HRBP role back in 1990’s by Professor David Ulrich in the wider HR  profession, it has evolved and changed significantly and arguably is one of the most important roles operating within the HR function especially in the challenging and changing times recently.
The ACT AHRI HRBP Network is pleased to host an online webinar to discuss the insights and criticalities of HRBP role around –

  • new automation world of data driven strategic activities and decisions
  • employee engagement, employee experience and DEI during the times of change and economic instability
  • priorities and  challenges of leadership development, strategic partnerships, & change management to drive the organisational effectiveness
  • employee Wellbeing and Mental Health program building and implementation
  • active development of HRBP capability
This event is recommended for all aspiring and current HRBPs, all HR professionals especially  – or for those with responsibility for leading HRBP functions in organisations.
We have a talented panel who will share their insight and experience as HRBP’s gained in both the private and public sector.

Panel Speakers:
 
Melanie Herpen – Director, HR and Business Services, Net Zero Economy Agency
Melanie currently works at the Net Zero Economy Agency as the Branch Head – Human Resources and IT Services. She has worked for a variety of public sector agencies in HR including Clean Energy Regulator, CSIRO, Austrade, and National Film and Sound Archive. Her career spans different HR Business partner leadership roles mainly in change management, employee engagement. Mel has played leading roles to support Senior Executive teams to implement strategic HR initiatives and has a significant experience in effectively managing and resolving highly sensitive and complex challenges such as workplace disputes, code of conduct and workplace relations matters. Mel’s qualifications include Graduate Diploma in Employment Relations,  a master’s in human resource management, and a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership.  Melanie is passionate about creating organisational cultures through developing strategies that create a whole system which allows individuals to perform at their best.
 
Michael Sanese –  Director – HR Performance, Workforce Planning and Insights, University of Sydney
Michael is an experienced HR leader with a track record in strategic roles across the private and public sector and as a workforce transformation consultant, recently appointed as Director – HR Performance, Workforce Planning, and Insights at the University of Sydney. He has led a wide range of complex workforce transformation and optimisation projects across Australia and Southeast Asia including the development 20+ year strategic workforce plans and skills frameworks for emerging capabilities; optimising HR business partner models to improve strategic value; and redesigning workforce planning functions to improve capability and employee engagement outcomes. Drawing on his qualifications including Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resource Management) and Bachelor of Science (Psychology), he is passionate about using data, storytelling, and evidence-based HR to drive business outcomes.
 
Zoe Mansfield – Human Resources Business Partner – HR Director, National Indigenous Australians Agency
Zoe is a highly recognised HR practitioner and leader and brings her extensive HR Business partnering experience and expertise in resolving complex HR and industrial relations issues. Her career span variety of roles including working in various APS agencies such as National Indigenous Australians Agency, The Fair Work Ombudsman , Department of Human Services. She specialises in navigating the complete spectrum of business partnering into people management, workplace relations and employee wellbeing and safety matters. Kirsty takes a strategic approach in thinking and planning for the future HR projects. Having operated in a rage of challegnign work enviornemtns Zoe has delivered desirable outcomes to ensure achieving organisational and employee engagement and satisfaction.
