Current and past projects:
AHRI partnered with Talent Corp in delivering the Managing Unconscious Bias at Work workshop to a range of diversity advocates and recruitment agents focusing on the topic of gender in the workplace. Talent Corp is established under the Malaysian Prime Minister's Department to formulate and facilitate initiatives to address the availability of talent in line with the needs of the country's economic transformation. Collaborating closely with relevant Government agencies and employers in priority economic sectors, Talent Corp develops demand-driven initiatives to enhance graduate employability, promote talent diversity, engage Malaysians abroad and facilitate foreign talent. AHRI is delighted to be part of this important Malaysian government agenda.
In addition, AHRI is delivering the foundations of HR program, titled Professional Certificate in HR (PCHR) to the Malaysian market in conjunction with our local partner, K-Pintar Sdn Bhd (K-Pintar). The program began in August 2014. We celebrated the graduation of our sixth cohort of 106 students in June 2016, bringing the total number of graduates from the program to 363 graduates since it started almost two years ago. This sixth cohort of graduates were funded by the Human Resources Development Fund.
In conjunction with K-Pintar, AHRI also delivered the PCHR to 25 students from the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) Brunei, which commenced training at the end of February. This initiative gained quite a bit of media attention in Brunei and is supported at the top end of the Government.
