COURSE OVERVIEW

With the right balance, flexible working arrangements can be mutually beneficial for your business and its employees. Organisations that offer flexible working arrangements have lower employee turnover, higher employee satisfaction and productivity.

The purpose of this course is to assist organisations to understand, implement and manage flexible working arrangements.

PARTICIPANTS

This course is suitable for HR professionals and managers interested in developing and managing flexible work practices.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Following the training participants will be able to:

  • Identify employer obligations and how working flexibly can benefit individuals/teams and the wider organisation
  • Clarify the roles and expectations that are key to working flexibly
  • Use a team approach to making decisions about flexible work practices
  • Balance flexibility with operational demand i.e. staff needs with business needs

COURSE FORMAT

Format is inclusive of facilitator led sessions, group discussion, and case study.

Duration: 3 hours
