My in-person pass has changed to a Virtual Pass, what do I do?

How to I change my ticket or arrange a refund?

If you have any questions about how to make changes to your ticket or to arrange a refund, please email us or call us on 1300 785 973 between 9am and 5pm AEST Monday to Friday.

When will I receive joining instructions for the AHRI Convention?

You will receive login details via email you provided upon registration on Tuesday 10 August, which will give you time to check your access and explore the platform. If you haven’t received an email by then, please check your junk folder. If you are experiencing issues, please contact us on 03 9918 9243.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?

Yes! With all of the sessions you will be able to see speaker along with their presentation. During each of the sessions, the Chairperson will kick-off the session live with video and introduce the speakers. At the end of the presentations for that session, with time permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A with the speakers, facilitated by the Chairperson.

How do I ask questions during the sessions?

We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the questions box in the virtual platform. Questions are submitted to the Chairperson and will be reviewed and placed into the queue for the Q&A segment at the end of each session.

What is replacing the Gala Dinner and Welcome Reception?

Can I share my virtual pass login information with other members of my team?

We are afraid not. The system only allows one ID to be logged in at any one time. If someone else logs in with your ID, the system will close your connection. If you wish to purchase additional tickets to the AHRI Convention, click here.

Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the event?

We will publish all recordings in the virtual platform following the event. Please note, some speakers may not have allowed us to record their presentation.

What format are sessions?

There will be keynote, education, and panel discussion sessions. For each, the Chairperson will kick-off the session and introduce the speakers. For each presentation, you will see the speaker and their presentation. At the end of the presentations, with time permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in live Q&A with the speakers facilitated by the Chairperson.

What are the technical requirements for attending the AHRI Convention?

You will need a device (desktop, tablet, or a mobile phone) that is connected to the Internet. Prior to the start of the AHRI Convention, you will receive an email providing detailed instructions on how to connect to the virtual conference platform.

Will there be multiple sessions going on at the same time?

Like an in-person event, sessions are scheduled to run concurrently. You can review the program to see all the session topics and speakers. If you missed a session or want to attend two sessions that are being held at the same time, you will have access to recordings from those sessions where speakers have agreed to be recorded.

How long does the virtual event go for?

The virtual program starts at 8:30am and concludes at 5:00pm each day.

Yes, you will be able to move from session to session just like you would during an in-person event. 

Virtual engagement and interactions

Will there be a virtual Exhibition Hall?

Yes, there will be a virtual exhibition hall. Click on “Exhibition” in the lobby to view the showcase of exhibitors. You can find relevant organisations via the search and filter functionality.

How will I be able to network with my fellow peers and delegates?

You can connect directly with individuals via the Meeting Hub. In addition, within the Network Central there will be Speed Networking sessions throughout the day, along with dedicated topic driven discussion groups within the Network Hubs.
