This year, Convention returns to Melbourne, AHRI's home ground. We're excited to be bringing you to one of the most beautiful and remarkable cities in the world, with ample nightlife, restaurants, music and cafes.
Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, AHRI Convention will gather the HR profession for an experience like no other.
Welcome to Victoria, Australia
The AHRI National Convention and Exhibition is excited to return to Melbourne after a successful event in 2018. Renowned for its art, music, food and fashion, Melbourne is the most "livable city" with so many experiences to discover.
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is located on the banks of the iconic Yarra River in South Wharf. It is just a short walk away from the city centre, providing the ideal starting place to uncover Melbourne’s world-famous laneways, restaurants, galleries and boutiques.
Only 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport, and close to trains, trams and buses.
Gala function: HR's night of celebration
The Gala function is one of the most popular networking events of Convention, where HR comes together to celebrate over a cocktail-style night with live entertainment. Each Gala function has a theme, and this year's theme (and details for the night) will be announced in August.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and health and safety policies, places are strictly limited for this event, and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend booking your registration early to avoid disappointment.
AHRI has secured special rates at nearby hotels, learn more.
In the weeks leading up to the event, registered delegates will receive the exclusive 'Convention Scoop' newsletters with useful information and resources to help make the most of their Convention experience.
AHRI also posts regular updates via social media before, during and after the event. Use the official hashtag #AHRIcon to connect with other delegates and for event updates.
