MANAGING WHISTLEBLOWER REPORTING
This course will provide you with an analysis of the changes to the new national requirements for corporations in the Treasury Laws Amendment (Enhancing Whistleblower Protections) Act 2019.
You will learn how to comply with the requirements in relation to mandatory whistleblower policies and how to support your organisation to deal effectively with whistleblower situations.
This course is suitable for HR professionals with 3+ years’ experience who are seeking a deeper understanding of whistleblowing procedures
Following the training participants will be able to:
- Describe key elements of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Enhancing Whistleblower Protection) Act 2019
- Identify the actions that need to be taken to ensure their organisation is compliant with whistleblower protection requirements
- Identify good and poor organisational whistleblower reporting, investigating and management practices
- Apply appropriate policies, procedures and practices to effectively deal with whistleblower situations.
This course runs for a half day and the format includes practical exercises, facilitator-led discussions, group activities and skills practice.
