Topic 1: Business-driven HR

This first topic for BSB41015 Certificate IV in HR addresses the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to collect, analyse and communicate information and to use that information to develop and maintain effective working relationships and networks, with particular regard to communication and representation.

The topic introduces the human resource function and shows how it fits within the organisational structure. It provides an understanding of how human resource management must deliver on the goals and objectives of the organisation and how internal and external relationships are critical to successful management or human resources.

Participants are introduced to processes and methods of linking their tactical activities to organisational strategy.


Upon completion of Topic 1, you should be able to:
